NSC Workplace Safety Awards highlight your commitment to safety and show employees their hard work is valued. Awards, like the Superior Safety or Safety Leadership awards, recognize dedication, boost morale, strengthen your safety culture and set your organization apart as a leader in safety — all while fostering a safer, more productive workplace. Most awards are available as a personalized engraved wood plaque, personalized certificate in a wood frame or a personalized etched crystal. Certificate and crystal awards are available in English and Spanish.

Safety Service Award

Honors an individual, task force or committee that has gone above and beyond in their commitment to your organization's safety culture.

Significant Improvement

Honors companies/divisions with at least a 20% reduction in injuries/illnesses involving days away from work and that have reduced fatalities as per OSHA requirements.

Superior Safety Performance

Honors companies/facilities that have 10 consecutive years without an injury or illness resulting in days away from work.

Perfect Record

Honors organizations/divisions for completing at least 12 consecutive months without an injury or illness involving days away from work.

Million Work Hours

Recognizes companies/divisions for accumulating at least 1 million work hours without an injury or illness involving days away from work.

Hazard Recognition

Honors companies with a hazard recognition program for four or more years that show an increase in hazards reported and corrected.

Safety Leadership

Honors companies/divisions that achieved at least five consecutive years without incurring an occupational injury or illness.

Occupational Excellence

In accordance with OSHA requirements, honors companies/divisions that reported injuries/illnesses equal to or less than 50% of the BLS rating for the NAICS code, and had no fatalities in the calendar year.

Milestone Award

Honors companies/divisions that have had at least 30 consecutive days without an occupational injury or illness involving days away from work.
