We work to identify emerging risks to human safety, and provide effective solutions and resources that employers and individuals need to reduce risks, so they return home to their loved ones at the end of each day. OUR GOAL
NSC was founded in 1913 to make workplaces safer for employees. More than a century later, we continue to identify causes of workplace incidents — like opioid-related overdoses, vehicle crashes, and other incidents that lead to serious injury and death — to find innovative interventions to make the workplace safe for you and those you love.
OUR GOAL
There are 39,000 fatalities from motor vehicle-related crashes each year. Contributions support NSC’s efforts to develop interventions, programs and policies to increase attentive driving, improve teen driving skills and instill safer driving habits for everyone on the road.

Answering the call to promote the profession, National Safety Council is helping grow engagement with students and student members — in part through the award of travel grants, cash scholarships or tuition coverage for NSC Advanced Safety Certificate eligible courses.
