Welcome to the NSC Workplace Wellbeing Hub, a central location for actionable, evidence-informed tools and resources to address the wellbeing-related risk factors that contribute to impairment, injuries and fatalities at work.

Grounded in the NIOSH Total Worker Health® approach, the Hub integrates protection from work-related hazards with strategies that promote total worker health, safety and wellbeing. The resources and tools in the Hub are designed to help organizations and safety professionals move beyond compliance toward prevention, early intervention and sustainable change. The NSC Workplace Wellbeing Hub helps organizations create a safe, healthy and resilient workplace that:

● Adopts recovery-supportive workplace practices that reduce stigma and support workers affected by substance use and mental health conditions

Before choosing a policy or resource from the Hub to implement, it’s helpful to get a baseline. Begin by identifying where risks exist, what’s working and where there are gaps in your workplace wellbeing program. A simple assessment helps leaders prioritize, make informed decisions and measure progress over time. The CDC’s Workplace Health Model provides a starting point – Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation – to help guide your approach as your program grows.
