The Advanced Safety Certificate® Scholarship for Veterans supports U.S. military veterans at every stage of their safety career. Whether transitioning into the environmental, health and safety field or advancing as a current safety professional, selected scholars receive full tuition coverage for the NSC Advanced Safety Certificate®, a nationally recognized curriculum built on proven best practices and leadership development.
Through this scholarship, veterans gain advanced knowledge, practical skills, and professional connections needed to drive safety excellence in any workplace.

1. Full tuition for the Advanced Safety Certificate
Hear what scholarship recipients have to say about the program.
ASC courses are offered 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday. All courses are virtual, instructor‑led sessions delivered over 12 days. Program curriculum:
● Follows a nationally recognized safety education pathway based on proven best practices
● Builds knowledge of compliance requirements
● Enhances leadership skills needed to drive effective organizational safety change
● Provides a clear roadmap for entering or advancing within the safety profession
2. 2026 NSC Safety Congress & Expo
Scholarship winners receive registration and travel accommodations for the 2026 NSC Safety Congress & Expo Sept. 11-18 in Indianapolis. NSC Congress & Expo is the nation’s largest safety conference, offering:
● Training sessions on emerging issues in health and safety
● Keynote speakers and technical sessions
● Networking with safety leaders from across the country
● Access to the Expo floor with more than 1,000 exhibitors
