Designed for professionals working in union and labor environments, the Labor Division brings together labor representatives, regulators and union members with an interest in safety who are committed to protecting workers and advancing safety education. This group reflects the shared responsibility of those working to elevate health and safety standards across industries.
The Labor Division focuses on collaboration, practical learning and the exchange of real-world insight. Members connect through discussions, resources and meetings that support stronger worker protections, promote safety education and drive meaningful improvements in workplace safety outcomes.

2022 Awarded to a Division member who embodies the ideals and guidance that Edward Eagan practiced every day in the promotion of safety and health for the American worker. Edward Eagan was part of IBEW Local 103 and served as a highly regarded labor liaison with OSHA. Eagan passed away in 1997.
The Labor Division includes union-based safety personnel and government regulators who share interest in safety, health and environmental concerns within the industry. The Labor Division has 12 subject matter committees:
