Travis Parsons has over 25 years of experience in the field of safety and health. In his current position, he provides safety and health support to the Laborers International Union of North America and its affiliates. His areas of expertise include industrial hygiene, infection control, ergonomics and overall worksite safety. A proud member of LIUNA Local 11 in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding metropolitan area, The DMV.
Travis also serves on the National Safety Council Board of Directors, is vice president of the NSC Labor Division and vice chair of the ANSI/ASSP A10 Standards Committee. Travis was a 2018 recipient of the NSC Distinguished Service to Safety Award.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology and a master’s degree in industrial hygiene from West Virginia University.
