As Global Occupational Health, Fire & Emergency Response & Americans EHS Leader, Jeff oversees a team of five EHS/medical/fire professionals, supporting 40 global manufacturing, lab and R&D locations for Qnity.
Prior to this role, Jeff was the EHS Expertise Center leader, where he oversaw a team of EHS professionals, supporting over 50 global locations in the electronics and industrial business. About 30 of those locations are in North America, with five locations in Europe and the remaining in Asia Pacific, primarily Korea, China and Japan.

Prior to his time at DuPont. Jeff was the EHS superintendent at Sadara in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, He was responsible for a team of 15 EHS technicians, two EHS engineers, and 40 safety inspectors. At the high point of construction, there were over 67,000 contractors on site, in addition to 4,000 direct hires and secondees. The Sadara project is the largest mega build project ever completed and consisted of 26 manufacturing units in addition to all the support infostructure.
Prior to Sadara, Jeff was an EH&S expertise manager in the Personal Safety Expertise Center for The Dow Chemical Company. In his role, he had responsibility for Dow’s Injury and Illness Reporting Standard as well as Dow’s Confined Space Entry Standard. He provided oversight on injury and illness reduction, loss of primary containment reporting/response and motor vehicle incidents to a number of Dow Chemical sites.
Jeff was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Western Pennsylvania. He received a bachelor of science degree in safety science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and a master of science degree in environmental sustainability and health and safety management from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013.
Jeff served in the United States Army at various posts and finished his military career with Delta Company, 110th Infantry Regiment.
Jeff received the prestigious Rising Star of Safety Award in 2013 from the National Safety Council. Jeff also holds the Graduate Safety Professional designation from the BCSP. He is also a Special Government Employee assisting with the Department of Labor OSHA VPP program.
Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the emergency response field. He supported Dow in disaster recovery operations, as he has served as the safety leader and OSHA liaison for tank explosions from a lightning strike in 2012. He also served as the safety leader during tsunami recovery efforts in Soma, Japan, in 2011.
Jeff’s emergency roles include, but are not limited to, fire chief, hazardous materials technician/specialist, confined space rescue technician, high angle rescue technician, vehicle extrication technician, Dive Master and NPQ Fire Instructor.
Jeff lives with his wife and two children in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
