President and CEO, Nebraska Chapter of the National Safety Council

Eric Koeppe is the president and CEO of the Nebraska Chapter of the National Safety Council. Eric is responsible for the strategic direction, vision and performance of the Nebraska Chapter, helping the organization work towards its mission of reducing injuries and saving lives of all Nebraskans.

Prior to being named to his current position in 2017, Eric had worked for the Safety Council almost 20 years in various executive level positions. Prior to joining the Safety Council, Koeppe worked as vice president/general manager for Fireguard, Inc., senior accountant for Ag Processing, Inc., and as city administrator for the communities of Denison, Iowa, and Bloomfield, Nebraska.

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Wyoming.
