Executive Vice President, Convening & Membership

Tom Bell joined the National Safety Council executive team in August 2018 as chief marketing officer. He is now responsible for NSC membership, conventions, networks and publications businesses. His team brings together the Council’s key customer engagement offerings including in-person experiences, constituent and member engagement and content delivery through Safety+Health and Family Safety & Health magazines, along with other customer publications. Engaging business and communications leaders across the organization, he helps drive a more consistent customer experience.

He brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience to his position. Bell previously worked as SVP of marketing at Wells Fargo, focusing on new client acquisitions, key segments and business initiatives, including workplace banking, affluent, small business and community bank marketing programs and strategies. He also served as board chair of Mama’s Kitchen, a nonprofit agency in San Diego.

Bell earned a degree in political science from Pennsylvania State University and graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
