President and CEO, National Safety Council Southeastern Chapter
Todd Buehrig is President & CEO of the Southeastern Chapter of the National Safety Council (SCNSC), the largest safety nonprofit in the region. He leads a mission-driven organization dedicated to eliminating preventable injuries, deaths, and loss, serving communities across South Carolina and Georgia. Under his leadership, SCNSC reaches over 40,000 individuals annually through comprehensive programs & training in workplace safety, roadway safety, and community well-being. 

As CEO, Todd shapes strategic growth, expands programs, and drives fundraising initiatives that enhance the chapter’s influence and impact across the Southeast. A respected advocate for public safety, he partners with state legislators, industry leaders, and community organizations to advance policies and initiatives that foster safer environments for all. 

Prior to SCNSC, Todd served as Vice President of Development for Providence Hospitals, overseeing major gifts and capital campaigns, including the successful $6 million effort to establish the region’s first pediatric cancer and blood disorders unit. 

A native of Chester, South Carolina, Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Francis Marion University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce, and the Columbia Museum of Art, and contributes to statewide initiatives including Together SC, the Palmetto Safe Neighborhoods Coalition, and Riverbanks Zoo.
