Scott Claffey is vice president, specialty products risk control services, for Great West Casualty Company, a subsidiary of Old Republic International Corporation. He and his team work with the nation’s largest trucking companies.
Scott has over 40 years in the transportation industry, including operational, maintenance, safety and risk management functions. He has been active the National Safety Council since 1994, working with the Transportation Safety Division and the Defensive Driving Courses International Advisory Committee.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a member of RIMS, the Risk Management Society, as well as a professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.
