Salvatore Caccavale has worked professionally in corporate environmental, health, safety and security leadership roles for nearly 40 years. He currently serves as the corporate director of safety and training for the Martz Bus Group.

Mr. Caccavale is a certified professional environmental, health and safety auditor. He serves on the NSC Delegates Committee, the working branch of the NSC Board of Directors, and has professional association with the Environmental and Transportation Practices of American Society of Safety Professionals.

Sal authored "A Basic Guide to RCRA: Understanding Solid and Hazardous Waste," published by the ASSP, and is the recipient of the National Safety Council’s Distinguished Service to Safety Award. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the National Safety Council’s Safety+Health magazine and is an active member of the Safety and Risk Committee of the Greater Northeast Motor Coach Association.

Sal serves as the current chair of the Bus Industry Safety Council of the American Bus Association, which provides educational and networking opportunities to its 300 member companies primarily in the motor coach industry.
