Phil Nguyen started his career in electrical engineering designing integrated circuits for 15 years. His career path led to 20 years with Cummins in various supply chain roles. For the past 10 years as the HSE manager at Cummins, he has led an HSE team, helping to establish robust health and safety programs and maintaining regulatory compliance ensuring the health and safety of over 1,200 employees.
The site is on a continuous improvement journey and a key part of it is employee engagement in safety culture. All the hard work of the HSE team and all employees at the site have culminated in the site achieving Minnesota OSHA's MNSTAR certification.
