Pete Schwartz serves as executive vice president of training at the National Safety Council, where he leads training initiatives to help organizations, businesses and communities facilitate safer workplaces through impactful safety protocol nationwide.
Schwartz brings extensive executive leadership in training, operations and strategic business growth. Most recently, he served as chief operations officer of the Education and Training Division at Transforce, where he led the team through innovation and market expansion. Previously, he was the vice president and general manager at SafetyServe, a leader in online training that provides driver safety training to thousands of organizations and over 500,000 users annually.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. Schwartz has also completed executive education programs in human resource management at Villanova University, executive leadership at Harvard Business School and leading customer-centric growth at the Wharton School.
