Keith joined NSC in May 2021 with the goal of building a best-in-class team to guide the Council’s financial planning activities and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in August 2023. He is responsible for all phases of financial operations including accounting, budgeting and forecasting, business planning, financial reporting and auditing. Keith is also responsible for maintaining financial integrity and serves as a key leader in strategic plan development. Additionally, he oversees the Accounting and Finance functions as well as the Legal, Supply Chain and Facilities teams.

Keith brings more than 20 years of finance, accounting, corporate strategy and investor relations experience to the Council. Before joining NSC, he worked at Chicago-based Options Clearing Corporation where he served as Senior Director of Finance. He has also held roles at Orion Energy Systems, CDK Global, Hyatt Hotels, Baxter International and Arthur Anderson. He has also served a CFO of Prairie Trail Federation, a nonprofit organization in LaGrange, IL. 

Keith was born and raised in Illinois and now lives in the western suburbs of Chicago. He earned a degree in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.
