Joseph Mokrisky, a distinguished safety professional with over three decades of experience rooted in his background as a commercial motor vehicle driver, has profoundly influenced transportation safety initiatives within the National Safety Council. His extensive involvement began in 2007 and includes significant leadership roles in the Transportation Safety Division and the Commercial Fleet Section, in addition to serving as a member of the Board of Delegates.
Mokrisky's notable contributions also include legislative advocacy for transportation and workplace safety in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. His exemplary efforts and commitment to enhancing safety across various domains were formally acknowledged in 2015 when he received the Distinguished Service to Safety Award, the National Safety Council’s highest individual honor, firmly establishing his legacy as a key figure in advancing safety across workplaces, roads, homes and communities.
