John Perkins, CSP
Vice President, Worldwide Safety Services, The Walt Disney Company
John Perkins is the vice president of worldwide safety services for The Walt Disney Company Experience Segment, which includes parks, cruise line and entertainment. In this role he is responsible for occupational safety strategies and leads the global safety team. John is a global environment, health, safety & sustainability (EHS&S) executive with over 25 years of strategic and operational experience across several industries including automotive, steel, electronics, distribution & construction.
Prior to Disney, John was the vice president EHS for Johnson Controls, where he was responsible for the EHS strategic plan, quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors and led the global EHS organization. Prior to Johnson Controls, he held various EHS leadership roles across Tyco International & Visteon Corporation.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Walsh College. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
