With more than 20 years of experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field, Erika Erb has built a distinguished career serving across multiple industries as both a consultant and an in-house safety leader. Her background includes consulting throughout Minnesota and North Dakota, as well as serving as a safety director in both general industry and construction environments.

Erika is safety manager for a $1.4 billion public-private partnership river diversion project dedicated to protecting communities from flooding. She holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety and is a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

In 2021, Erika became the first female recipient of the North Dakota Safety Council’s Duane Kuehn Outstanding Safety Professional Award, an honor presented annually to a single safety professional selected by committee. She has presented at the North Dakota Safety Council Conference, previously instructed National Safety Council and OSHA courses, and is an OSHA-authorized instructor in both General Industry and Construction.

She also is acting secretary of the NSC Construction & Utilities Division.
