Catherine is an experienced practitioner with extensive expertise in fostering organizational culture and ensuring OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance across globally diverse industries including aerospace, defense, manufacturing, professional services, and commercial automotive R&D sectors. In various levels of assignments, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in strategic Quality, Environmental, and Safety and Health management for new contract starts, driving initiatives that have significantly reduced incident rates and enhanced workplace safety while maintaining environmental compliance with flexible fit-for-purpose programs enabling operators to perform safely. Through developing innovative programs that promote a culture of accountability and care, she has championed initiatives that have significantly reduced incident rates and enhanced workplace safety, resulting in industry recognition for world class safety performance.
Catherine has been very active with the National Safety Council, speaking during seven different events, including being one of the Keynote Speakers for the Campbell Institute Forum at the 2025 National Safety Congress. She was a part of the NSC’s working group to develop and publish the first ASTM standard on Guide for Engaging Workers and Leaders in Identification, Prioritization, and Reduction of Risk of Occupationally Related Serious Incidents and Fatalities. She has also served on the Women’s Division Programs Committee in the past and continues to participate with the Women’s Division. During the COVID pandemic, she was a contributing participant on the SAFER Taskforce, helping to write guidance for industry during that challenging time. At other venues outside of the NSC, she has presented topics ranging from building effective safety cultures and the importance of positive mental health programs.
She holds an MS in Occupational Safety & Health and Environmental Management, the Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification, and the Graduate Safety Practitioner certification.
