Brad Thomas is the president and CEO of Keolis North America. Brad joined Keolis in 2024 as president and COO of the U.S. transit division. In that role, he focused on demonstrating Keolis’ commitment to its public transit agency partners and providing safe and reliable service for passengers. Since then, ridership has continued to grow, the hiring gap for driver operators has narrowed and four locations have secured recognition for international road safety standards. He serves on the board of the North American Transit Alliance, where he previously served as chair from 2020-2023.

Prior to joining Keolis, Brad served as the CEO and president of First Transit and First Vehicle Services. There, he successfully led First Transit and First Vehicle Services through two transactions. During his tenure, First Transit was one of the largest passenger transportation contractors in North America, with operations throughout the continental U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, Panama and India. Under Brad’s leadership, the company doubled top-line revenue, grew the business to 300 contracts, expanded the portfolio outside of North America into Central America and India, and managed several strategic acquisitions.
